Welcome to Baobab Primary School a distinguished institution committed to providing holistic and high quality education in Uganda.
Having been appointed Head teacher in September 2016 I was delighted to be part of Baobab community that has strong sense of purpose, kindness and energy. We commenced with no child however, by the end of term one at least 35 pupils had joined us and before the year ended the enrollment had reached 52 pupils. I have been offered an opportunity to witness the journey of Baobab Primary School right from its birth and this has inspired me and motivated me to work devotedly together with my team. Currently the contemporary statistics is 618 and I attribute this to God who has enabled Baobab community to grow amidst all challenges.
At Baobab Primary School, we take comprehensive child- centered approaches to developing our learners, educating the whole child via a rich and varied curriculum, delivered by committed and inspirational teachers.
Children benefit from hands – on, active learning and our enabling environments both in and outside classroom to offer depth and relevance to learning; children can use their problem – solving skills and creative minds to learn new ideas and challenge previous learning and understanding.
Through careful monitoring of our mixed ability cohort, our dedicated staff ensures that the methodologies used are individually tailored to support and challenge every learner and the achievement at the end makes us extremely proud. We pride ourselves on knowing every one of our unique children within our wonderfully diverse school community and knowing our families as partners in their children’s education.

As we reflect on our school’s journey since 2016, I’m delighted to share some remarkable achievements. Our commitment to academic excellence, innovative teaching, and holistic development of our pupils has yielded impressive results as highlighted below:
✓Consistently improved in academic performance, with pupils excelling in Primary Leaving Examinations(PLE), i.e. in 2022 out 5 candidates all passed in division one, 2023 out of 15 candidates 7 passed in division one and 8 division two, 2024 out of 15 candidates 9 passed in division one and 6 in division three, 2025 is still loading and we expect the best again.
✓Innovative programs, such as arts, sports, Music dance and drama (MDD) and news reading on Baobab FM, that foster creativity and talent.
✓State-of-the-art infrastructure*, providing pupils with modern facilities and resources, that enhance teaching and learning process.
✓Community engagement through outreach programs e.g. offering transport services, safe water and cleaning campaigns especially in the communities close to the school, volunteer work, and partnerships that promote social responsibility.
